Our subtle bodies. Part 2. Social consciousness

How are descriptions and instructions manifested within consciousness?
This function is performed by the Mental body, a third subtle human body. It is precisely in the Mental body that the multi-volume descriptions of the World are stored. Mental space is an immense library of knowledge. Everything that you have studied and read, everything you heard and saw – a condensation of pure knowledge is available in your mental space. A free Astral body has the same open access to this library, it can navigate and sort through it easily.

A mental body rich in knowledge and skill, in control of emotions and sensations, gives access to various kinds of information. When someone's thinking process is free, they can change their mood and affect their bodily sensations with just a single thought.

But, unfortunately, being able to do and know everything is impossible. What principle is used when selecting the books from this library of knowledge? Why is it that out of an entire sea of information someone chooses something specific while ignoring everything else? In order to answer this question, it would be enough for you to take a look at your own library - a regular book collection you have at home.

What books sit on the shelves in your home?
Way back when, in times when everything was lacking in sovietic nation, we used to buy whatever we could get our hands on, including books. By using ration coupons and subscription, a person in Soviet times used to purchase multi-volume collections of Pushkin and Tolstoy, subscribe to popular magazines, and secretly read self-published works by Solzhenitsyn and Dovlatov. During that time people would take any information they could get hold of. Later on, the amount of available literature increased, and we began choosing what we liked, what we needed, or what we found interesting. It is possible that the out-of-date reading matter was thrown out. Or, maybe it was carefully folded and stored in a closet. The shelves of your library held only what you yourself determined was necessary, useful, interesting, and meaningful.

A person's way of thinking, his or her Mental body, forms under the influence of the environment in which that person grows up and the Dimension he or she lives in. The system of control that is performed by the Astral body functions strictly in accordance with the tools that are present in the Mental body. If we continue the analogy of a "factory", then it instantly becomes clear that the concrete system of information a person has collected will determine the guidelines according to which the emotional sphere will operate. The guidelines are based on knowledge of the world. The less knowledge a person possesses, the more primitive their reactions, the more concrete and simple the guideline: e.g., fight or flight.
The Mental body, being in possession of a person's worldview, regulates his or her emotion. It regulates that person's ability to control his or her energy via mental commands which can be quite rigid and specific. Such commands do not give a person an opportunity to choose. They make that person unable to make a different decision other than that which is concretely written in the mental directory.

Limited knowledge, an inability to use other languages, indifference or, even worse, an aversion to any dimension of the world, impede access to specific parts of the library (common system of knowledge) which a person has no grasp of or does not tolerate.

Knowledge gets sorted into your mental library for several reasons.
Reason number 1 "It is Accessible". You receive information from clear and accessible sources whether written or oral. For example, you only receive information in languages that you understand.
Reason number 2 "It is Allowed". Information has not been censored. It is allowed to be used. Information fits public opinion on a given subject, it meets expectations. It has been peer-reviewed, etc.
Reason number 3 "It is Interesting". You absorb everything that ignites passion, makes you involved, leads to growth and development, and awakens emotion. Whether the source is reputable or not, is unimportant. The consensus of public opinion is not taken into account. The most important thing is that it must be interesting; it must be moving.
Reason number 4 "it is Needed". This includes required information that contains within itself a necessary minimum amount of knowledge of this world. Everyone has his or her own necessary minimum.

When it comes to selecting information for your own Mental body as well as for your physical library, you will do so for reasons which are foundational for you. That is, if "interesting" prevails, then "allowed" and "accessible" will move out of the way if necessary. While if it is "allowed" that sits on the throne, then "interesting" and "needed" will be disempowered.

The one who defines these reasons is the big boss, the librarian, the supervisor. That entity makes decisions about which reasons you adopt when filling your system with knowledge and the form in which that information reaches your control system, i.e. your Astral body. Upon a request to send down information, the stern librarian will provide the control system with the literature or information that it deems appropriate for the solving of a given problem
