Hello! Is anyone else able to get their email notifications about posts? In my profile, I've set my notification settings to get emailed for everything and I still never get emailed the notification. Is this just me? I know my partner also doesn't get the notifications and being able to get them would really improve my awareness of the forum and be prompt in responding, sharing, and connecting more. Thank you for any help in solving this!

Let's test here, if you have clicked RECEIVE EMAILS AND ALERTS at the bottom of this topic, then you should in theory get my response.

Sharing my settings in case it's helpful (I'm still testing them). I'm not watching any boards, since that can cross wires with watching topics. There's a known SMF 2.1.4 bug (#7680) that cancels emails if you are both watching the board and following the topic. To set it up:

You should get an email and alert on every reply. I got my email in the spam folder from MAGIC UNITED and whitelisted the sender address. Note that not watching boards means you won't get notified when a new topic is created, but since most of our discussions are at the topic level, I opted for that.

Hello colleagues,

I also do not recieve notifications, but I also wasn't aware of settings. I formed a habit of checking the forum reguraly, probably that's why I didn't think about settings. Good to know, I will also use them. Thank you!

Reporting back on the result - all the settings worked, and I received an alert and an email on your reply, Ale!
